Imagine origami on your breakfast plate. French artist Floriane, widely known online as "Florigami," brings this playful concept to life. A former physicist turned origami master, she crafts and sells intricate paper animals—but recently experimented with a delicious twist: crepes.
As reported by France Bleu Bretagne, the idea sparked during a pancake session with friends. One challenged her to fold a crepe, and another shared the edible creation on Twitter. "We had to cut the round pancake into a square—not easy! Then I folded it quickly under their astonished eyes, creating this little crane," Floriane explained. The gourmet origami didn't last long; she savored her crepe animal immediately.
One thing's for sure: when Japanese origami meets Brittany's crepes, the results are delightfully surprising!
