Want to cook… without an oven?

We often think that cooking good pies or making good au gratin dishes without an oven is impossible. Antoine and Élise, a young couple of students who love cooking, have decided to take up this culinary challenge. They share cooking recipes through their website:shepherd's pie, chocolate tart or gratin Dauphinois. All without an oven and that's good because they don't have one! Easy and quick recipes, about 30 min of preparation, tested by our two lovebirds or suggested by friends or Internet users. You can find recipes without oven on kitchen sites, Marmiton or 750g, even if these are poorly listed. but don't panic, we have selected three recipes for you to die for:starter, main course and dessert, enough to give your taste buds palpitations without giving hot flashes to our EDF bill.

As a starter:appetizing mini pizzas

Preparation time:20 minutes
Cooking time:10 minutes

Ingredients (for 6 people):Choose according to your preferences.

200 g of pizza dough 200 g tomato sauce
2-3 slices of ham
50 g grated cheese
50 g mushrooms
1 tomato

Preparing the recipe

We grab our pair of scissors and we cut the packaging of our dough, we spread it on a floured dish or we simply unroll the paper of the dough. We put our glass on the dough and cut out mini round pizzas. Before filling, we cook the dough in a pan on both sides using the spatula. It must have hardened enough. In a pan, sauté the slices of ham and mushrooms for a few minutes. Heat the grated cheese and tomato sauce in the microwave. We spread the sauce and put it all on our pizza dough. As explained by Yukihana, the initiator of the recipe on Marmiton, the latter has no gastronomic purpose, it only serves as a D system.

Let's give in to the sin of gluttony, with this delicious chocolate tart:

Ingredients

180 g of Breton palets

45 g butter

170 g milk chocolate

15 cl liquid cream

20 g white chocolate

Preparation

We coarsely crumble the Breton palets using our fingers. Melt the butter in the microwave and then add the crumbled Breton palets. We blend. We distribute in a pastry circle, packing well and making a small edge all around. Refrigerate for at least half an hour. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in the microwave (a few seconds). Then add the heavy cream and mix. Pour over the pie shell and place in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. When ready to serve, decorate with small shavings of white chocolate using a grater.
