Recipe: Classic Apple Pie

Ingredients:

  • A baking sheet
  • Baking paper
  • Two puff pastry sheets
  • Apples (depending on the size of your pie)
  • Heavy cream
  • Vanilla (or classic) sugar

Instructions:

0: Preheat your oven to 180°C
1: Place the first dough on the baking sheet and shape as desired
2: Spread a generous layer of heavy cream on the dough, avoiding the edges
3: Peel and slice the apples into thin strips
4: Arrange the first layer of apples and sprinkle with vanilla sugar
5: Add the second layer of apples and sprinkle with vanilla sugar
6: Cover with the second dough, trim edges to match shape
7: Seal by folding the edges together
8: Beat an egg, brush over the pie for golden color
9: Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C
