Make pasta yourself

This is how you make pasta dough for fresh pasta.

Ingredients for 500 grams of pasta dough
– 350 grams of pasta flour (e.g. from Dill &Chamomile)
– 3 eggs
– 1 pinch of salt
– Flour (for dusting)

Get started

  • Sieve the flour with a pinch of salt. Then pour the flour around your counter top. Make a mound of it with a dimple in the middle.
  • Crack the eggs into the hole. Mix more and more flour into the eggs with a fork. Continue until you have an even dough.
  • Then knead the pasta by hand for about fifteen minutes. The dough should feel firm and elastic.
  • Is it too dry? Then you can add a little water if needed. Is the dough too soft? Add some more flour.
  • Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the fridge for half an hour.
  • To make pasta from your dough, it is best to use a pasta machine. Follow the instructions for use with your pasta machine.
