Discover the Cheap New Year s Menu.

An inexpensive New Year's menu to start the year off right.

For less than 10 Euros per person you will have a memorable and economical New Year's Eve!

You can start with a cheap aperitif.

Then as a starter we offer you foie gras on toast, sprinkled with coarse salt and accompanied by fig jam.

As a dessert, we like ballotins de la mer, easy to make:

Garnish a pastry sheet with a small piece of salmon, a prawn and a scallop.

Close the pastry sheet by tying it so as to make a small ballotin (a kind of small bag). Put it in the oven for 20 minutes.

Serve them with a sauce:Simmer the prawn heads in a small broth and add fresh cream once the broth has reduced well. Mix and your sauce is ready.

In flat, we recommend something very simple and quick to do:

Duck breast with honey to make in the oven:

In an oven dish, place your duck breasts with the fat on top (1 per person). Streak the fat, without cutting the flesh.

Sprinkle with honey, coarse salt and pepper. Add coarsely chopped onions to the dish and half a glass of water.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Once the oven is hot, for a "dew" cooking, put the duck under a convection heat for 10 minutes and finish on the grill for the last 5 minutes. Accompany with a homemade mash.

To finish we suggest a chocolate cake, accompanied by vanilla ice cream. It's a classic, but you can't go wrong!
