Four reasons to eat bell peppers

Peppers contribute to a healthier diet. They are tasty, easy and super healthy. They contain many vitamins and minerals, often even more than other fruits and vegetables. Moreover, they are easy to prepare. Here are four reasons to eat bell peppers.

1. Bell peppers contain the most vitamin C of the most commonly eaten fruits and vegetables. For example, they contain more than twice as much vitamin C as oranges.

2. Bell peppers are suitable for everyone and fit into any diet. Bell peppers are fat, sugar, carbohydrates and gluten-free and contain very few calories.

3. You don't have to be a chef to cook peppers. They can of course be used in a hot meal, but you can also eat them raw as a snack. This way most vitamins are preserved.

4. There is a type or taste of pepper for everyone, from the firm block peppers in four colors and flavors to the small sweet orange snack peppers.
