Oreos and tacos might seem like an unlikely pair—one a creamy chocolate cookie, the other a savory mix of veggies, meat, and cheese. But Julia and J.P., the innovative duo behind the HellthyJunkFood YouTube channel, known for their bold food mashups, took on the challenge of creating an Oreo taco.
After refining their recipe through trial and error, they blended flour, cocoa, baking soda, yeast, salt, eggs, sugar, butter, black food coloring, and plenty of Oreos into a rich, dark dough. Baked into pancake-like shells that stand in for traditional tortillas, it's topped with homemade whipped cream, Oreo ice cream, chocolate sauce, and more whipped cream. The result is a massive, Oreo-inspired taco that's visually stunning and crave-worthy—but at 550 calories, it's roughly double a standard hamburger. Tempted to try it?
