Due to a recent tragedy in the village square, the 21st Honey Festival in Roquebrune-sur-Argens has been canceled and postponed to a later date. We regret the inconvenience and will share updates as they become available.
While Paris buzzes with Nuit Blanche art and automotive shows, southern France offers a timeless dive into beekeeping. The festival promised to celebrate the honey harvest through fun, original, and free events, including insights into beekeeper training, and tastings of diverse honeys.
At the heart of the action: the Apimobile, a life-size hive with transparent walls. CFPPA trainees in full gear would open it to unveil bee colony secrets. Visitors could safely watch the nectar-to-honey process—a vibrant, educational spectacle.
Gourmands, mark your calendars for future dates: Sunday, October 5, featured tasting workshops showcasing Provence honeys, including IGP and Label Rouge varieties—the finest selections. Bee-shaped cupcakes were also on the menu for eager foragers.
Children would enjoy interactive workshops on beekeeping secrets, like painting hives and hunting for pollen—hands-on fun in a joyful setting.
No website needed—here's the map to the 21st Honey Festival site in Roquebrune-sur-Argens for when it returns.
