Stuffed eggs, tips, tricks and recipes

Whether it's a party, an addition/decoration of a salad, an Easter or Christmas:stuffed eggs are always delicious. Moreover, they are not too difficult to make. If you keep the tips below in mind, you are assured of delicious deviled eggs.

Tip:choose the right eggs

The right eggs are the basis for tasty deviled eggs. Since the eggs have to boil for at least 8 minutes and then have to be neatly stripped of their skins, without damaging the egg itself, it is best to choose eggs that are not 'farm fresh'. This means that the eggs must be at least 10 days old. Eggs that are too fresh are difficult to peel.

Tricks for cooking, peeling and cutting eggs

Some tips so that you get perfectly cooked and peeled eggs that you can use for filling:
– Eggs should all be the same size
– The eggs should be on the bottom (less pointed side, where the so-called air chamber is) be punctured. This can be done with a thumbtack, but also with an egg pick
– The water must boil before the eggs are put in
– Eggs can be peeled easily? Then add a dash of vinegar to the cooking water
– The eggs should boil for at least 8-10 minutes
– After cooking:drain the water and 'shock' the eggs under cold running water. This promotes easy and problem-free peeling
– Eggs to be filled should be cut in half lengthwise

Convenience serves people and that is why an egg cooker certainly offers a solution!
