Meatloaf with spinach leaves

  • fresh spinach on the branch or, failing that, frozen
    500 g
  • minced meat (veal or beef)
    750 g
  • breadcrumbs
    60 g
  • salt + 1 tsp pepper
  • ground nutmeg
    1/2 teaspoon
  • celery chopped
    1 stalk
  • chopped fresh parsley
    50 g
  • milk
    6 cl
  • minced garlic
    1 clove
  • butter
    1 tablespoon
  • chopped onions
    100 g
  • whole eggs

Cook the spinach and squeeze it by hand to extract as much liquid as possible (or use frozen branches) and add it to the meat, along with the breadcrumbs, salt, ground pepper and nutmeg.

Add celery, parsley and milk. Mix well. Then add the garlic.

Heat the butter in a pan and sauté the onions until they become translucent. Add them to the meat.

Preheat the oven to. 5.

Give the shape of a loaf or fill a cake tin or a terrine with the meat.

Bake for 1.5 hours. Serve with tomato sauce or ketchup.
