Apples stuffed with Agen prunes and maple syrup.

  • Agen prunes
    400 g
  • ground almonds
    6 tablespoons
  • almond paste
    200 g
  • heavy cream
    2 tablespoons
  • maple syrup
    6 tablespoons
  • raw cider
    5 cl

Preheat the oven to th. 6 (180°C).

Wash the apples. Cut a hat to 1/3 of their height. Hollow out the lower part, leaving a little thickness. Put the hats back on, put the apples in an earthen dish.

Cut the prunes and marzipan into small pieces. Mix them with the ground almonds. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the mixture and the fresh cream.

Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring.

Fill the inside of the apples with this preparation. bake for 30 minutes.

Mix cider and maple syrup.

After 10 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the apples, and do it regularly until the end of cooking.

Serve warm with fresh cream.
