Association of Master Chefs of France: Preserving Culinary Excellence Worldwide

Founded in 1949, the Association of Master Chefs of France unites over 250 distinguished chefs across France, its overseas territories (DOM-TOM), Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa.

Recognized as the world's most Michelin-starred culinary organization, it is dedicated to upholding, advancing, and transmitting French gastronomy as an art form.

Under the 1951 Charter of the Master Chefs of France, aspiring members must meet rigorous standards. A Maître Cuisinier can be expelled for subpar cuisine or poor establishment maintenance.
