Sweet Strawberry-Basil Spring Rolls with Luscious Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients
For 10 rolls
Preparation: 15 min. – Cooking time: 5 min.

  • 250 g strawberries
  • ¼ cantaloupe melon
  • 1 tbsp basil, finely chopped
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 4 kiwis
  • 10 rice sheets

For the chocolate sauce

  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 100 ml whipped cream

Preparation

  1. Cut the strawberries and melon into small cubes. Gently mix in a bowl with the chopped basil and lime juice.
  2. Peel the kiwis and slice them thinly.
  3. For the sauce, finely chop the dark chocolate and place in a heatproof bowl. Heat the cream until boiling, then pour over the chocolate. Stir until smooth and glossy.
  4. Soften each rice sheet in water, add a portion of the fruit mixture, and top with 3 kiwi slices.
  5. Fold the top edge over the filling, tuck in the sides to form an envelope, then roll tightly. Serve with warm chocolate sauce.
