Have your chips gone soggy?

This often happens when you leave the bag of chips open.

Moisture enters the package and makes the chips soft.

Fortunately, there is a trick to get them back to their crispness.

The trick is to put them in the microwave for 30 seconds to make them crispy again:

How to

1. Put the chips on a microwave-safe plate.

2. Place the plate in the microwave.

3. Heat the chips on full power for 30 sec. If they are still not crispy enough, repeat for 10 seconds.

Result

There you go, your chips are crispy again :-)

Simple, fast and effective!

And it's much better that way, isn't it? And it avoids throwing the open package. So it's always less mess and it's more economical.

The trick also works for crackers, tortilla chips, Mexican chips, rusks, Swedish crunchy breads (Krisprolls), pretzels that have gone soft and mushy.

If you don't have a microwave, you can also put the chips in the oven for a few minutes, spread out in a dish.

It also works in a skillet over high heat.
