Pea flower, the natural dye for dishes

Let it be said:the first thing that comes to mind when we are served a blue dish (well, okay, that doesn't happen often), is that the preparation must be rather chemical, although visually speaking it is beautiful, without a doubt. So much so that it is difficult to give the first fork. Moreover, impossible to do so before having immortalized the rather unusual dish or drink. And good news for the most reluctant, this coloring does not necessarily come from artificial pigments:it is an effect created by Bluechai tea, completely natural.

A blue and natural dye

Our dishes, pastries, cocktails, teas and other preparations can now be dressed in blue thanks to the effects of Bluechai tea, originally from Southeast Asia and ultra photogenic. In addition, the blue pea flower infusions are organic and vegan. And not to spoil anything, Bluechai has some virtues that are not displeasing to us:it is de-stressing, detoxifying and rich in antioxidants. The plant also strengthens our natural barriers against ultraviolet rays. If it is regularly consumed in Thailand or Burma, no need to go that far to get it:a German site dedicated to it sells it. And for those who are not thrilled with the blue color, just add a hint of lemon juice, and the mixture turns pink! Something to delight our foodista souls, right?!
