10 tips for losing weight (that have nothing to do with diets or food)

We say it and we repeat it but yet it doesn't necessarily go into your head:losing weight isn't just a question of knowing how to eat healthy, it's also in your head (it's for that's what hypnosis works so well). So here are 10 tips for losing weight…by being happier (oh yes oh yes)!

1/ Tell each other that we love each other. Fat, repeat shrinks, is also a shell that our brain can unconsciously create against external attacks. Put simply:if I'm afraid that others will laugh at me, criticize me or that life will do me some uncool things, my stupid brain (sorry, buddy) will say to itself, "Here, I'm going to put a buoy, that will protect her! Except that in terms of "weapons", as long as we do, we prefer "self-confidence", being fulfilled in my job or even knowing how to solve our problems (rather than undergoing them), to fat. Yeah, that sounds better…

2/ Surround yourself with nice people. We sort out and limit contact with those "who bother us but we have to see". And for good reason:when we are stressed, we often throw ourselves on Milka or crisps (it's scientific!). And shit, life is too short. Might as well spend it with nice people and worry as little as possible, right?

3/ Sleep. Well yes, 1/ because when you're tired, you eat, 2/ Because when you're tired, your morale drops (so you eat) and 3/ it's AT NIGHT that you lose weight! So hop, sleep!

4/ Skip the ads. And yes, because it creates and accentuates our "junk food" desires, whets the appetite (yes, everything is done to make us salivate) and makes us think MILKA, NUTELLA, CHIPS, PIZZA! Instead, we're going to pee (for example).

5/ Feel the air pass through your nostrils. It sounds silly, but it's a great way to calm any intense cravings for sugar or fat. Example:you walk past a bakery and there, a chocolate éclair looks at you and says "eat me!" by making you smell its good smell. There, you close your eyes, you breathe slowly, deeply, feeling the air passing through your nostrils, for at least 60 seconds. And presto, envy mastered! Mouhaha.

6/ Make love. Yeah, because not only does it make us happy (explosion of our oxytocin levels) but because it also makes us play sports! Yaaa!

7/ Find our "flow". Already, it makes us downright happier and in addition it makes us concentrate fully on one thing (like Sudoku, painting, sewing, writing, ...) and forget the chocolate éclair that bellows his love.

8 / Know how to say no and say when things are not going well. Because when we "eat our emotions", when we repress them, well, we also want to eat other things. What if we were simple? Haaa, that feels good. 🙂

9/ Wear clothes that REALLY suit you. 1/ Because a tracksuit that's too large gives us the impression that there's a lot of leeway (so we get loose on chocos) and makes us feel ugly (so we're sad and we get loose on chocos) , 2/ Because an outfit that hugs us gives us the impression of being a sperm whale (therefore choco alert) and 3/ Because when we are in outfits that fit us in body and mind , we feel deeply good, our hunger decreases and our compulsive behaviors go on a long vacation. 10/ Sing and dance with friends. On Larusso, Lââm, Notre Dame de Paris, Shakira, whatever you want! The importance:unplugging your brain, having fun, letting off steam, turning negative emotions away and simply feeling alive and happy. That way we burn calories and have so much fun that we don't even want to eat like an ogre! 😀
