6 tips for the vegan challenge

On October 1, many people will take up the challenge; eat vegan for a month. Will you join us? Prepare yourself with these tips.

1. Sign up for the vegan challenge
Of course you can participate on your own, but the Dutch Association for Veganism organizes a challenge twice a year for a reason. You will find handy weekly menus on the website. Sign up for the challenge and you will receive even more useful tips by email.

2. You don't have to try a new recipe every day
It's nice to broaden your horizons and try new recipes, but you probably don't feel like it and time for that every day. That is not necessary, because of some ingredients that you like to eat, there will be a vegan variant for sale.

3. Join with someone else
By participating with someone else, you are not alone. You can exchange tasty recipes, share the best vegan products you have just discovered. It makes eating vegan for a month just that little bit more fun.

4. Let others know that you are participating in the vegan challenge
This way you avoid disappointment when you eat with others. Or invite everyone to your home this month and show that vegan food is not boring. Cakes also fit perfectly within a vegan diet.

6. Choose recipes in advance
You don't have to buy a recipe book these days. You can find countless vegan recipes on the internet. Prepare yourself by collecting a number of recipes. This way you can make a shopping list before October 1.
